Tariff system

The km fare system works according to a very simple principle: fares are calculated according to the number of km that divide the starting point and the area where the starting location is located.

Following the route of the line, for the journeys that take place within a single zone applies the first class of fare and at each additional passage of the area, including the departure one, corresponds a step of fare.

Sanctions

Passengers are required to:

  • obtain a suitable and valid travel document;
  • validate the travel document;
  • keep the title for the entire duration of the route and until the descent stop;
  • show the travel document upon boarding the driver and the control and verification staff.

Simple Ticket

Ordinary Ticket

Recommended for those who travel only occasionally.

The ticket must be validated as soon as you get on the bus in the appropriate validator.

  • Variable depending on the kilometers traveled

  • Paper: if purchased on board

  • Magnetic: if purchased at a ticket office

  • Paper: Entitles you to make a single trip for the report corresponding to the route purchased, on the bus on which the purchase was perfected

  • Magnetic: Validation is required at the time of ascent and entitles you to make a single trip for the report corresponding to the purchased route, on the bus on which validation was carried out

Ordinary Ticket

To save money, it can be used throughout the Aosta Valley network.

  • Variable depending on the kilometers traveled, with a discount of 22%

  • Smart card

Where recharge it

Subscription titles are renewable at authorized resellers. It is possible to purchase a new subscription even before the expiry of the one you are using. The new subscription will become effective at the first validation following the expiry date of the previous one.
Renewal on board is allowed where there is no ticket office on the ground and only if the time required for the operation does not generate online delays. For this reason, it is advisable to renew it sufficiently in advance of the expiry date. Furthermore, it is emphasized that, in order for the subscription to be recharged, the balance on the Value Card must not be negative (in this case, a recharge must be provided to bring it back to at least zero).

Weekly ticket

Subscription

A saving of 50% for students and workers who travel for short periods on a continuous basis.

Students and employees can purchase the subscription as long as they live in Valle d’Aosta

  • Variable depending on the kilometers traveled, with a 50% discount

  • Smart Card  Vd’A Transports

  • The weekly Ordinary subscription allows the completion of 12 total trips on the chosen route, over 7 days, with a maximum of 2 trips per day.

Reduced Weekly ticket

Can be used Monday to Friday, at a 45% discount

Students and employees can purchase the subscription as long as they live in Valle d’Aosta

  • Varies depending on mileage, at a 45% discount

  • Smart Card Vd’A Transports

  • The reduced weekly ticket allows the transport of 10 total trips of the chosen route, for a period of 7 days, with a maximum of 2 times per day, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Monthly ticket

Subscription

A 60% saving for students and workers who always travel on the same route

Students and employees can purchase the ‘subscription as long as they live in Valle d’Aosta

  • Varies depending on mileage, at a 60% discount

  • Smart Card Vd’A Transports

  • The monthly Ordinary subscription allows the completion of 50 total trips on the chosen route, over 1 month, with a maximum of 2 trips per day

Reduced Monthly ticket

Subscription

The same discount as the monthly subscription, designed for those traveling only from Monday to Friday

Students and employees can purchase the subscription as long as they live in Valle d’Aosta

  • Varies depending on the kilometers traveled, with a 60% discount

  • Smart Card Vd’A Transports

  • The reduced monthly subscription allows the completion of 42 total trips on the chosen route, over 1 month with a maximum of 2 trips per day excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
